Boceprevir Adverse Events

Boceprevir (VICTRELIS™) is generally a well-tolerated medication. However, some people may experience side effects or adverse events as a result of taking it. For example, allergic reactions may occur, resulting in symptoms such as unexplained rash; difficulty breathing; and swelling of the mouth, lips, or throat. Blood cell problems, such as anemia, are also possible, and they are associated with symptoms such as fatigue, shortness of breath, and dizziness.

If you develop any of these potentially serious side effects during treatment with boceprevir, contact your healthcare provider right away.
