Drug Interactions With Boceprevir

If certain medications are taken with boceprevir, drug interactions could occur. Some of these interactions could increase your risk of side effects, such as low blood pressure, muscle problems, and dizziness. Boceprevir (VICTRELIS™) can potentially react with a number of other medications. Some of the drugs that may lead to interactions with boceprevir include but are not limited to:

    • Posaconazole (Noxafil®)

  • Phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors (PDE5 inhibitors), such as:


  • Pimozide (Orap®)
  • Protease inhibitors, such as:
    • Atazanavir (Reyataz®)
    • Darunavir (Prezista®)
    • Fosamprenavir (Lexiva®)
    • Lopinavir and ritonavir (Kaletra®)
    • Ritonavir (Norvir®)
