Sofosbuvir Tablets

Sofosbuvir (Sovaldi™) is a prescription medicine used in combination with other medications to treat chronic hepatitis C in adults. Sofosbuvir comes in tablet form and is available in only one strength (400 mg).

There is one standard dosage for everyone taking sofosbuvir (400 mg once daily); however, the length of treatment will vary, depending on the type of hepatitis C virus you have, other medications you are taking, and other factors.

Sofosbuvir tablets work by interfering with the way the hepatitis C virus replicates. While most people tolerate this medicine well, some possible side effects include insomnia, fatigue, and headaches.
