Who Should Not Take Telaprevir?

You should not take telaprevir if you:
 
  • Cannot take peginterferon alfa or ribavirin. 
  • Are pregnant or may become pregnant, or are a man whose partner is pregnant.
  • Take certain medications (see Drug Interactions With Telaprevir).
  • Are allergic to INCIVEK, telaprevir, or any of the inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
